Ticket bought in Mindanao also wins P23.3-M Mega Lotto jackpot
It’s a happy New Year for one player from the Bicol region and another player from Mindanao after winning the jackpot prizes for the Ultra Lotto 6/55 and Mega Lotto 6/45.

During the draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Dec. 29, the bettor from the City of Ligao in Albay won a total jackpot prize of P571,554,916.40. The lone bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 19-35-25-42-58-05.
Meanwhile, a solo player from South Cotabato also won a total of P23,333,389.60 as the jackpot prize for Mega Lotto 6/45. The winner correctly matched the winning numbers 06-12-28-04-16-17.
Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, a 20 percent tax will automatically be deducted from the jackpot prize.
As per the PCSO charter, winnings should be claimed within one year from the date of the draw “otherwise the same would be forfeited to form part of PCSO Charity Fund.”
PCSO also reminded winners to secure their tickets by writing their names and signature on the back.
“It must not be wrinkled, folded, or even have a single tear on it,” PCSO said. “The bar code must not be damaged, as it is an essential component of the ticket for validation,” it added.
Moreover, PCSO said the “lotto terminal should be able to read the bar code.”
Winning numbers and other details of PCSO games, products, and services can be viewed on the official PCSO website and social media pages.
