WATCH: How Kryz Uy, Slater Young found out they're having another baby boy

"The whole family thinks it's a girl"

"The unexpected child—always the third child," a netizen wrote after social media personality Kryz Uy and her husband Slater Young's recent gender reveal party with their family.

In a YouTube vlog posted by Kryz on Jan. 14, 2024, she documented all the details leading up to the memorable moment of the event. The proud mom shared that she had a gut feeling that they were expecting a baby girl this time.
 


"I am wearing pink, because I do feel it's going to be a girl. It’s the first time ever that I have a little feeling of what it could be. I actually don't know if it is because of the symptoms that I have, but it feels a little different from my past two pregnancies," the content creator shared. "People keep telling me that they feel like it's a girl," she added.

The gender reveal party took place at her parent-in-law's home, coinciding with Kryz's 34th birthday celebration.

"The whole family is actually going to be wearing pink today. Slater really believes it's a girl. Scottie really wants it to be a girl, and Sevi wants to wear whatever Scottie is wearing, so we're all wearing pink today," she shared.

During the gender reveal, the couple, along with their children, stood inside a box that had long strings of pink and blue which the couple would be pulling, releasing the balloons in either pink or blue, depending on the gender.

They were, of course, expecting to see pink balloons indicating a baby girl. But to their surprise, blue balloons emerged, revealing that they are going to have another baby boy.
 


"Honestly, I was expecting it to be a girl. We all came in pink, and then my sister, who threw the gender reveal and knew the gender already, was like, 'everybody was expecting it to be a girl, but it's actually a boy'," Kryz narrated.
