Why Da Nang, Vietnam should be on your next travel bucket list

Cebu Pacific launches direct flights to the must-visit destination

In a historic milestone, Cebu Pacific (CEB) recently inaugurated its first-ever direct flight to Da Nang, Vietnam. This exciting new connection opens up a world of possibilities for travelers seeking a unique and enriching experience. Located in Central Vietnam, Da Nang is a city with vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and a rich history waiting to be explored.

During its launch last December 2023, the flight to Da Nang marked Cebu Pacific’s 25th international destination and the third destination in Vietnam, following flights to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, and Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s economic center.

Previously, passengers traveling from Manila to Da Nang had to book a connecting flight from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or a nearby country, taking up at least 10 hours of travel time. With CEB’s new non-stop flight, passengers can reach Da Nang in just three hours, without any additional stops. For as low as P7,000, customers can book an all-in round-trip from Manila to Da Nang, with flights operating thrice a week – every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, shared the significance of this historical milestone. “From bringing life and love to the island of Siargao to transporting Filipino workers to Dubai, Cebu Pacific’s inaugural flights have helped boost tourism in different regions and made it possible for travelers to discover places that used to seem unreachable. Today, Cebu Pacific makes history once again as we make traveling to Da Nang, Vietnam more affordable and accessible for every Juan,” he said.
