The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) marked its 70th anniversary with a three-day celebration from March 8 to 10 held at the SMX Convention Center and other venues. The event not only showcased the economic potentials and investment opportunities of the Philippines, but also underscored FFCCCII's unwavering commitment to numerous economic advocacies, socio-civic, and philanthropic initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable and inclusive Philippine economic growth.
A significant milestone was the unveiling of FFCCCII's inaugural English-language coffee table book. This historic publication meticulously chronicles the 70-year journey of FFCCCII, highlighting its profound contributions to public service and socio-economic advocacies.
Two dozen foreign business delegations from Asia, Europe, and North America, along with top business leaders and philanthropists from 170 Filipino Chinese chambers of commerce nationwide contributed to the international dialogue on economic growth and collaboration.
The distinguished list of VIP guests included luminaries such as former President and now Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, Vice-President Sara Duterte, China Ambassador Huang Xilian, Senators Imee Marcos, Cynthia Villar, Koko Pimentel, Sherwin Gatchalian, and JV Ejercito.
In addition, notable figures like DTI Sec. Fred Pascual, DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr., Sec.
