LOOK: Iza Calzado, Bianca King's baby girls wore Rajo Laurel baptismal gowns

When sisters-in-law Iza Calzado and Bianca King announced that they were pregnant last August 2023—nine days apart, it was no surprise that the two new moms chose to have their daughters baptized on the same day.

Their husbands, Ben and Ralph Wintle, are brothers. Ben and Iza have a daughter named Deia Amihan, and Ralph and Bianca’s daughter is named Sadie Harlow. The baby girls were baptized by Fr. Tito Caluag at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Makati last Saturday, Jan.13, 2024.

In her heartfelt caption, Iza expressed her gratitude for her precious daughter, who has brought immense joy and love into their lives.

“Our precious daughter, you are a blessing that has brought us great joy and love. We celebrate your baptism and pray that you will be guided and supported by God, your godparents and loved ones as you discover and fulfill your purpose in this world,” she wrote, adding, “Welcome to the Christian world, Deia Amihan.”
 


Both baby girls wore lace baptismal gowns adorned with delicate florals and a ribbon. They are customized by renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel. “What an absolute joy it is to have been able to create new family heirlooms. I have always loved the idea of ‘baptismal’ dresses that can be passed down through the generations. So delighted to have been able to do this for my dear friends as they welcome their children to the Christian world. Thank you for this incredible opportunity. I love Sadie and Deia Amihan so much!”
 


Iza herself exuded an aura of lovely elegance in a strapless column gown designed by Vania Romoff. Her husband, Ben Wintle, opted for a white casual V-neckline shirt.
