LOOK: 'Weird Barbie' doll is now for sale
A limited-edition collectible!
Mattel, the toy company known for Barbie, has recently unveiled a special edition doll inspired by Kate McKinnon's character in Greta Gerwig's popular movie "Barbie."
Based on the product description, "The limited-edition "Weird Barbie" doll features a bright pink dress with colorful artwork and puffy sleeves, green snakeskin boots, and markings on her face. It also features short tousled hair and markings on her face to emulate a doll that’s been played with just a little too much."
The doll was skillfully designed by Javier Meabe, to mimic Kate McKinnon's portrayal. The doll also has unique bendable capabilities that allow for a full split and elbows that can move at unconventional angles.
Every purchase of the 'Weird Barbie' includes a certificate of authenticity and is presented in special "Barbie the Movie" packaging. Available for pre-order on Mattel's website, this unique doll is priced at $50. Shipping is expected to take place on or before May 31, 2024.
