Ticket bought from Pasig yields new lotto millionaire

The ticket was purchased in San Miguel, Pasig City with a lucky digit combination of 09-30-28-45-31-05.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Tuesday, Aug. 29 announced that a solo bettor from Pasig City clinched the P101,344,365.20 Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot prize during the evening draw on Aug. 28.

As per the PCSO Facebook page, the ticket was purchased in San Miguel, Pasig City with a lucky digit combination of 09-30-28-45-31-05.

However, as stated in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, P10,000 and above prizes are subject to a 20 percent tax deduction.

Moreover, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed, as for the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, it will be forfeited to the part of the PCSO Charity Fund.

The next Mega Lotto 6/45 draw is scheduled on Aug. 30, along with Grand Lotto 6/55.
