Rhodessa's 'Kisame' enters Billboard charts

Alt-pop singer Rhodessa continues to buck trends, breaking into the Philippine Billboard charts for the first time with her hit “Kisame” making its mark at the 15th spot.

Note that prior, the single conquered the number one spot at Spotify’s Viral 50 Philippines listing.

“Kisame” eventually made its presence felt at Top 50 Philippines and the Tatak Pinoy playlists where its currently sitting on the Top 5 and Top 10 spots, respectively.

Chart Data PH recently posted that "Kisame" “earned the biggest single day stream in Spotify Chart Ph history, passing Moira Dela Torre’s 'Paubaya' with 454.3k” single day streams.

To date, "Kisame" has over 15 million plus listens since its release last March 2023.

The asong's accompanying video is currently the 3rd most watched videos in the Philippines on YouTube.

Not bad for a 22-year-old BS Tourism graduate who was inspired to write “Kisame” after crushing hard on Twice member Mina Myoi.
