Ote Petrache

Ote Petrache was not able to finish his hotel and restaurant management course in college because he chose to get a job and earn. His very first taste of employment was in a gasoline station. (Pa-karga naman bro!)

“Mga five years din ako sa gasoline station. Naging all around ako dyan, gasoline boy, cashier at lahat ng ginagawa dun," Ote recalls.  (I'm sure daming bading nagpa-gas dyan!)

He also tried selling goods in a supermaket: “All around din ako dyan. Naging merchandiser at promodiser ako ng mga pagkain, gulay, tubig, alak at kung anu ano pa." (Pabili ng talong bro!)

Since he considers himself bisexual, he got exposed to several gay apps and ventured into entertaining viewers online. (Pang that’s entertainment daw!)

“Naglivestream ako sa isang gay app. Entertainer ako dyan. Kumakanta, sumasayaw at nakikipagkwentuhan," Ote says. (makapagdownload nga nyan!)

It was in his regular livestreaming where he met a person who introduced him to the world of Alter.  (A whole new world daw!)

“May viewer ako na nag-a-Alter. Sabi nya sakin. bro umalis ka na dyan. Mag-alter ka. Yung kinikita mo dyan, barya lang sa alter," Ote shares. (At may pag-bro rin sayo ha!)

The 28-year-old Ilonggo immediately took the offer. “Hindi naman ako nahirapan magdesisyon na gawin kasi exposed naman ako sa mga bading. Bata palang ako, may mga sinasamahan nakong bading sa halagang 150! Hahaha!” (Ay baka may buy one, take one promo si koya!)

His alter account on Twitter just started November last year, but he has already gained a significant number of followers and subscribers. Most of his videos feature his collaboration with fellow alter personalities. (Baka need mo narrator, dito lang ako bro!)

“Nagpapabayad ako sa mga collaboration. Gusto ko lahat ng galaw ko meron akong mapapala. Dapat meron akong income," Ote explains. (Bilang di naman daw ito charity work!)

Ote has decided not to accept other jobs and concentrate on his content. “Naranasan ko na kasi maging empleado. Nung naging alter ako, yung kinikita ko sa buong cut off ko noon, kinkita ko lang dito sa alter ng isang araw. Kaya sabi ko i-full time ito. Gagawin ko ito hangga’t kinakagat ako ng mga tao." (Ay may pagkagat pa!)

In his guest appearance on our digital show na WTFu, he mentioned that even if he has controversial videos online, he is not interested in trying mainstream entertainment. “Mahiyain talaga ako. Sa mga alter kasi, may gabay ako. yung partner ko. yung sa showbiz, masyado nang level up yun. Ok naman ako rito.” (In fairness mahiyain pa sya ng lagay na yan. Ako gawin mong gabay bro!)
