IN PHOTOS: Meet the cast of upcoming biographical thriller 'Oppenheimer'

Scenes on the big screen in Christopher Nolan's most ambitious film to date

Universal Pictures has released new photos from Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, "Oppenheimer." The film will open in cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, July 19. "Oppenheimer" is set to be Nolan's most ambitious film to date, and it is sure to be a major event when it is released. The film explores the complex moral and ethical issues surrounding the development of the atomic bomb - a challenging and thought-provoking film, to be sure. Especially these days, when the threat of war and conflict abroad is ever a looming subject. The photos show Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist who led the Manhattan Project, which developed the atomic bomb, as well as Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer and Matt Damon as Leslie Groves Jr. Cillian Murphy as J.
