'Deadpool 3' teaser ignites excitement over Wolverine costume

A teaser on "Deadpool 3" released on social media is sending MCU fans in a frenzy. It features Ryan Reynolds as the fourth-wall-breaking-mercenary-with-a-mouth, Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman in his iconic role as Wolverine. And while news of the ‘Deadpool 3’ movie featuring Jackman isn’t exactly new, what excited fans about the recent post is what Jackman was wearing. The sight of Jackman in Wolverine’s iconic yellow costume ignited a frenzy among those who had all but given up on seeing a movie version of said costume. While not exactly a spandex costume, the outfit Jackman was wearing on the released teaser photo is closely based on Wolverine’s Astonishing X-Men era costume. Previous versions of Jackman’s Wolverine costume were movie interpretations at best. As one fan account said ‘this is so comic book-y.’ The first look photo teaser is just the first of many that will come as production ramps up for "Deadpool 3." Ryan was first to hint about Hugh's participation in the film via a post on Instagram using the caption “Now in Hugh res.” The sight of Hugh in Wolverine’s iconic colors hints at a long-awaited crossover between the Deadpool and Wolverine franchises that promises an explosive blend of visceral action and humor.
