Manila Bulletin Lifestyle attended the first day of the Four Hands Culinary Series. We tried Soto Ayam, a traditional chicken soup that is hearty and flavorful; Bebek Betutu, roasted duck dish marinated in a blend of spices and herbs; Sambal Udang, a spicy prawn sambal made with chili peppers, shrimp, and coconut milk; Nasi Goreng, a classic Indonesian fried rice dish; and Beef Rendang: A beef curry that is slow-cooked in coconut milk and spices.
