Zack Tabudlo connects with American alt-pop duo joan
Zack Tabudlo is on cloud nine having recorded a tune with his idols, Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford of the American alt-pop duo joan.
In an interview, Zack revealed the guys in joan are huge heroes of his and that their music “was the soundtrack of my life.”
Alan and Steven have nothing but good words for the Pinoy singer-songwriter.
They admitted to wanting to work with Zack ever since they heard him and realized, “This boy can sing.”
Zack and joan are now out with a collaborative single titled "superglue."
Alan shared the inspiration for the warm and uplifting song: their kids.
“We want them to know we’re superglue for them. We’re the guys you can run to when you’re sad or you want to rejoice because something happy happened at school," said Alan.
He was quick to add, "(But) if you’re not a parent, it can be about someone you really care about. We’re singing it to our little girls though.”
The new version that features Zack is described as a “love letter" to fans.
joan will embark on an Asian tour with stops in Thailand, Japan and Singapore.
The band is also set to play at the New Frontier Theatre in September.
