We all heard the saying, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” It fuels us before we go through our days. In the Philippines, we have many ways to enjoy our breakfast, whether it is through a plate of classic tapsilog or something on the go like a sandwich made with pandesal. But the thing is, with our fast-paced lifestyle, breakfast for many is something people do alone. This time, a beloved food brand is campaigning that breakfast can be a special dining moment to share with loved ones.
To celebrate National Cheese Day, Eden Cheese unveiled its latest campaign dedicated to bringing families and friends closer to the table as early as breakfast time. Dubbed “Eden Almusalo-salo,” the initiative aims to spotlight the brand’s #DiTinitipidAngPagmamahal mission through dishes ad recipes that put a spotlight on its champion product.
To help bring its mission closer to the public, the brand held an event early this month at Trinoma Activity Center to teach moms and home cooks recipes and other kitchen hacks that will make their breakfast with their loved ones make great moments during breakfast.
Brand manager Jiselle Anne Reyes
“Eden has been in the Philippines for such a long time. It's been her for over 38 years. Ever since, we've been trying to maintain that creamy delicious taste many Filipinos have grown up loving,” brand manager Jiselle Anne Reyes told Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. “This is our way to remind people na you can have a simple breakfast. You don't need to skip it. It doesn't have to be grand. But it can be special, something you can share with your loved ones.”
Chefs Boy Logro, RV Manabat, and Ylyt Frixiah Manaig
During the event, the brand tapped noted chefs RV Manabat, Boy Logro, and Ylyt Frixiah Manaig to present quick and easy dishes Filipinos can serve on their breakfast tables. Below are some of the recipes the chefs shared during the event.
