Basketball is Dick Jordan’s first love. (shoot mo na bro!) He was a varsity player in high school and college. He really wanted to play in the professional league but bikini contests got his attention. (may bikining itim?!) “Nagpartime job ako sa isang fast food chain. Tapos dun ako nadiscover. Pinasali ako sa mga bikini pageant. Sinubukan ko. Ok naman,'' Dick remembers. (pa-order nga ng hotdog bro!) Dick was a daring bikini model. “Dati nga may sinuot pa ako na see through na bikini. Nakita ko kasi yung ibang mga kasama ko, nagsusuot ng ganun. Tapos tuwang tuwa yung mga tao. Sabi ko sige gawin ko rin, pandagdag entertainment.” (so sana no bikini nalang!)
He also joined several male pageants like the Ginoong Pilipinas which opened opportunities for him. A talent management team was impressed with his potential and launched him as one of the members of  The Hot Men. (nakakapaso ka bro!) “Sing and dance kami noon. Tapos pag last set na, wala na kami suot, bikini na lang. Parang Magic Mike," Dick says. (ilabas na ang mic!) With all of his numerous showbiz projects, a director noticed him and offered him to be a lead actor in an independent film. He immediately agreed to be in the project but unfortunately, it did not materialize. (pack-up agad?!) “Nagmeeting kami kasama ng ibang artista. Tapos nung pauwi nya. Gusto nya sumama ako sa bahay nya. Sabi nya, ibo-body scrub daw nya ako. Di ako pumayag. Sabi ko iba gusto nito. Tapos di nya ako tinawagan para dun sa pelikula. Di ko nga rin alam kung natuloy yun," Dick narrates. (sure ka bang direktor yan, baka masahista pala!)
In his recent guest appearance on our digital show WTFu, the 29-year-old bachelor admitted that he already thought of leaving the entertainment business but he could not say no to teleserye and film offers. He is currently into BL series. One of his projects is Toreros. (may toro bro?!) “Hindi ako kinabahan na kapwa lalaki yung ka-eksena ko. Parang mas na-excite pa ako na may ka-kissing scene ako na lalaki. Kasi kapag babae, parang common na. Nagawa ko na yun dati. Dito napapakita ko yung best ko, lalo na sa acting," Dick explains.
