The Juans has eked a new career milestone.
They finally broke the 1 million listener mark on Spotify.
The feat is testament to The Juans perseverance.
The band started out playing in bars to a couple of people.
Lead singer, keyboardist, songwriter Carl Guevarra agrees it has been quite the trip.
“It’s a long way since 2015 when we first started. Back then we just wanted our music to be heard.”
“But since the start we always believed that we can do it and here we are; with a couple of hits under our belt and almost 1.2 million listeners ready to listen to every song that we put out.”
The milestone couldn’t have come at such an opportune time as The Juans are releasing a new song this Friday, April 28 titled “Back Home.”
Apart from Guevarra, it features lead singer Japs Mendoza, singer-acoustic rhythm guitarist RJ Cruz and bassist-singer Michael Adriano.

This is the band’s latest song since releasing “di mo na ako kailangan” and “Atin Ang Mundo Ver. 4” earlier this year.
The Juans released their first full length album “Liwanag” just last year under Viva Records.
“We look forward to releasing new music and exploring new sounds and styles,” said Carl, who also mentioned that “’Back Home” will be the first single off their all-English EP that fans can watch out for soon.”

“And we’re definitely going to work to reach our 2 millionth listener milestone,” he added.
