Cong Ralph shows that he's a supportive hubby to Vilma

House Deputy Speaker and Batangas 6th district Rep. Ralph Recto proudly took to Facebook Monday morning, April 24 to congratulate his wife, "The Star for All Seasons", Vilma Santos, for adding another feather in her cap. "Congrats, Vi, for bagging the Parangal ng Sining 2023 award," wrote Recto. "Salamat sa Film DevelopmentÂ Council of the Philippines (FDCP) sa pagkilala sa talento at ambag ni VilmaÂ industriya ng pelikula (Thanks to the Film DevelopmentÂ Council of the Philippines for recognizing Vilma's talents and her contributions to the industry of film)," he added. The Parangal ng Sining 2023 award is a lifetime achievement award that was given to Recto "for transcending stardom into becoming a symbol of resilence and professionalism, a shining example of what it means to be a beacon to the public". Santos is showbiz royalty in the Philippines with an extensive body of work and a large trophy case. She is also a former Batangas governor and congresswoman.
