I usually don’t like unplanned vacations especially if it’s out of town. (arte-arte?!) Although I have tried it several times and thank goodness, I didn’t encounter problems (o baka kinalimutan ko nalang!) Just like this recent holy week, we didn’t organize any travel. (usually aligaga kami sa paghahanda ha!) It was already Maundy Thursday when we realized we wanted to leave Manila. We thought of visiting Zambales. (wala lang!) We left on Good Friday even if we couldn’t book any accommodation due to the high volume of tourists. (bahala na si Batman mode on!)

We decided to take our chances in Sitio Liwliwa, San Felipe. We went to every resort but no space was available for us. Good thing I saw the ongoing construction of a Beach Front Resort of Zamba Villas(marami silang resort sa Zamba in fairness!). There are already rooms but not yet open to the public. I requested the owners' Sir Mar and Madame Rein if we could rent a room. (pakapalan ng mukha!) Fortunately they said yes! (ganda lang puhunan ko ha!) They even assigned Efren and Ryan to be our assistants during our stay.  (lakas na maka-artista, may P.A. pa kami!)

It was my first time in Zambales. It is usually a four to five-hour travel from Quezon City. (pero kaya raw ng three hours kung hindi summer vacation!) Liwliwa’s Beach is breathtaking. (Maganda, malinis at pino ang buhangin !). People are accommodating. (walang mga ate chona ha!) Tourists can surf (pero madalas sakto lang ang lakas ng alon nya!) All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are also available for those who want to explore the area. (lakas maka-macho pag pinapaandar mo na ang ATV!)  They have interesting resorts with different themes and affordable rates. (ako nga naka-harbat pa ng magandang price sa tinuluyan namin!) There are also bars.(pero hindi makaka-apekto sa ganda ng beach kasi may sarili silang pwesto ha!)

Unlike the more popular summer destinations, this place is not crowded (kahit holy week ha! pero sana mapromote din!) I met a lot of beautiful people. (medyo madami nagpicture akala ata ako si Kim Chiu!) Kapuso Actor Matt Lozano was so gracious to approach me to say hi. He was also on vacation. I worked with him on TV5 when during his “bagets” years. (Mavy ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya noon) Aside from pursuing his love for singing, he will also be busy in promoting the remake of Voltes V in GMA7 where he plays Big Bert. (di big bird ha!)
