The Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2 will temporarily suspend their operations from August 4 - 18.
The two-week suspension of operations of both train lines was made in compliance with the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) imposed in Metro Manila and in the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.
The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LMRC) said it will continue to enforce strict health and safety measures once the government allows the resumption of mass public transportation services.
The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 had earlier announced that it would stop its operations following the government's announcement on the new quarantine status for Mega Manila.
