STI College enriches learning experience through award-winning initiatives enriched with digital contents and activities

STI College was recently recognized at the 58th Anvil Awards for its initiatives to provide learners with a world-class and holistic learning experience, in line with its commitment to mold future-ready graduates. The institution received two (2) Silver Anvils for the STI Social Media campaign and the STI SCOPE (Student's Career Opportunity and Personality Evaluator) program.

Cultivating an engaging and youth-oriented online community

STI turned its Official Facebook fan page into an online community where students could communicate with each other and create bonds with their peers and professors after realizing the value of student connection, particularly during the pandemic's peak. Students' sense of belonging was fostered by STI through enriched digital content and activities, which also served to support them while the learning environment and setup underwent changes.

Guiding young Filipinos to career success

STI created the STI SCOPE, an online personality assessment tool, to assist students in selecting the best track/course and vocation based on their personalities, talents, and weaknesses. It also includes a planning worksheet, insightful advice from industry experts, and useful articles for starting a career. They enable students to decide on their educational and professional routes in an educated manner even at an early level, which can be beneficial to their future success. “We are honored to have our student-oriented programs recognized yet again at the Anvil Awards. At STI, we continue to uphold a holistic learning experience for our students to mold them into capable, well-rounded, and future-ready individuals. And with the help of these tools, we are able to do that despite the challenges that were brought by the pandemic to the education landscape in the past three years,” said Aisa Q. Hipolito, STI VP for Academics. Presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards recognizes outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners in the country. The 58th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal was held on March 8, 2023, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Pasay City.
