DOJ on lockdown March 19-23 due to 7 new cases of COVID-19 infections
The Department of Justice (DOJ) will again be on lockdown starting Friday, March 19 until Tuesday, March 23 because of the increase in the number of personnel infected with corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra said: “We have seven new cases today (March 18), bringing the total active cases to 17.”
“I might have been exposed to 4 of the 7 new cases, so I’m taking the necessary precautions,” he stressed.
During the lockdown period, “everyone will work from home, except a skeletal staff who will receive documents and attend to other frontline services,” he said.
DOJ was on lockdown from March 12 to 16 after eight employees tested positive to COVID-19.
