Coffee Project hailed as one of the ‘most Instagrammable cafés in the world’

This is not the first time the Filipino coffee shop was recognized for its chic interior

As the world goes mad crazy for good eats matched with beautiful ambiance, food spots are getting creative when it comes to designing their spaces. Locally, one of the cafés that champion both is the coffee shop chain Coffee Project.

Recently, the Villar-owned coffee shop makes it to the list of "The 50 most Instagrammable Cafés in the World" by food and travel website Big 7 Travel, taking the 32nd spot. The website describes it as "an oasis of calm and beauty in this bustling city" thanks to its "soft lighting and lush greenery." Dominating the 2023 list is Indonesia's Montana del Café.

This is not the first time Coffee Project graced Big 7 Travel's list of Instagrammable Cafés in the World. In 2019, it ranked 24, making it the only Filipino coffee shop to be included in the list.

Run by the All Value Corp., Coffee Project opened its first store in Starmall Alabang, Muntinlupa in 2014. It offers a variety of signature blends "composed of 70 percent Arabica coffee that is imported from Brazil and 30 percent Robusta coffee from Sumatra," as well as culinary creations, from international eats like pasta, salads, and pizzas to classic Filipino dishes such as beef tapa, boneless bangus, and longganisa for its breakfast plates. Now, it has over 55 outlets all over the Philippines.

"Besides the Coffee Project’s high-quality service and best-tasting food and drinks, the interior of each branch is exceptional, granting them an extra edge among others," the coffee shop's website states. "The place itself is a reason enough to drop by. Every coffee outlet of Coffee Project is filled with flowers and greens to create a happy and vibrant mood among customers. They made use of mood lights and comfortable seating pieces to create a sense of personal space for each customer."
