Ben Affleck rumored to direct new 'Batman' movie

Rumors are swirling about Ben Affleck directing a new "Batman" movie. This, after co-CEO of DC Studios James Gunn confirmed that he’s been in direct contact with the actor to direct a DCU movie. According to fans, this might be "The Batman: Brave and the Bold" movie which will focus on The Batman/Bruce Wayne and the Robin/Damian Wayne characters. It was made clear that Ben will not play the lead character on said reboot. But he just might be the director of said film. Or so the rumors say. A month ago, Gunn unveiled his and co-CEO Peter Zafran’s eight-to-ten-year plan for DC Studios for television, movies and animation. Ben is set to don Batman’s cowl and cape in the upcoming "Flashpoint" movie.
