Eleazar submits SOCE

Guillermo Eleazar, a senatorial candidate in the May 9 polls, has already submitted his Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE).

Commission on Elections (Comelec) Acting Spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said Eleazar and three party-lists have already submitted their SOCEs as of May 30.

The three party-list groups are Abono, Senior Citizen, and Bisaya Gyud.

Based on Republic Act No. 7166, all candidates and treasurers of the political party shall, within 30 days after Election Day, file their full, true, and itemized statement of all contributions and expenditures in connection with the election.

The last day for the filing of SOCEs is on June 8, 2022.

More than 46,000 candidates and 177 party-list organizations ran in the last elections.
