The Rolling Stones, Beatles collaborative effort in the works?
Report has it that The Rolling Stones have recorded a tune with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr of The Beatles.
Variety magazine wrote that it is supposed to be for a new Rolling Stones album due later this year.
Specifically, it reported that Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt recorded McCartney playing bass “for a forthcoming Rolling Stones project.”

It also mentioned that Starr is also "slated to play on the yet-to-be-announce album.”
It is unclear though whether McCartney and Starr are playing together in the same song as the album is still being finalized. Sources said that the new Stones album production is “nearing the mixing phase.”
Watt won a Grammy last February for his work with Ozzy Osbourne.
He’s worked with the likes of Elton John, Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop as well as Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Britney Spears.
The upcoming Stones album, will be their first since 2005’s “A Bigger Bang.”
The new album will likely include tracks recorded by founding member Charlie Watts before his death in 2021.
Some netizens are amused with the idea.
One said, "The Rolling Stones needs a bass player and a drummer, Paul and Ringo needs a band…just throwing it out there.”
Now wouldn’t that be something?
