Guanzon vows to watch movie on Ninoy Aquino

Marcos administration critic and P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has vowed to watch musical-turned-movie "Ako si Ninoy".

Guanzon made this declaration over Twitter on Sunday night, Feb, 19 even as she gave a shoutout to fellow lawyer Vince Tanada for saving her a seat during the movie's special advance screening at Powerplant Mall in Makati City.

"Thanks direk @VinceTanada for saving me a seat. I'm in Cadiz ,but panonoorin ko ang Ako Si Ninoy," the former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner tweeted.

The screening took place on Saturday night, Feb. 18.

Juan Karlos Labajo played the titular role of the late senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

Tanada created the "Ako si Ninoy" musical back in 2008.
