More than 600 wedding suppliers from all over the nation sashayed into the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel last November. This was to celebrate the 10th year of the Philippine Wedding Industry Ball hosted by the Philippine Association of Wedding Planners (PAWP).
“The wedding suppliers are the stars of this event. We want to celebrate and recognize them through this ball,” shares PAWP.
Ladies and gentlemen were dressed in black and white formal wear, complementing the dreamy atmosphere of the venue that was styled by MC Pascual, Robert Blancaflor, and Amaranthus.
With the theme “Stellar,” the fun evening featured the brightest wedding suppliers with installations such as constellations by Mind Creations and 4th Wall, celestial tunnel by Blooms Event Styling, and revolving giant crescent moon by Ralph and Co.
The program opened with surprise song numbers by Manila Hotel’s General Manager Atty. Joey Lina, proceeding to the announcement of the “Stars of the Night,” and the celebratory Grand Toast from the PAWP members led by outgoing Pres. Majelle Calbes. The next batch of officers for 2024 was also presented, including Nona Clemente as the president, Anna Liza Sotto as the vice president, Angel Ortiz as the association secretary, Greg Flores as corporate secretary, Jo-anne Co as the treasurer, and Rachel Martelino as assistant treasurer.
Host JC Alelis and 3rd Avenue Band kept the party going with DJ Rammy Bitong bringing everyone onto the dancefloor. Manila Craft, Philippine Wine Merchants, and Pilgrims took care of the drinks.
This annual charity ball is a project of the Philippine Association of Wedding Planners to pay tribute to the hardworking heroes of every beautiful wedding in the country. “The wedding suppliers are the stars of this event. We want to celebrate and recognize them through this ball.”
