Red Velvet will join Filipino artists at the “NYE at the 5th: New Year’s Countdown” that will be held on Dec. 31 on 5th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

It will feature Red Velvet’s Irene, Seulgi and Wendy, Ely Buendia, Zack Tabuldo, KZ Tandingan, and Adie.

"BGC Taguig’s New Year celebration embodies the spirit of our city - diverse, vibrant, and thriving. We are thrilled to welcome Taguigeños and visitors alike in this iconic celebration that brings together renowned artists from the OPM and K-Pop worlds." said Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano.

The BGC street party will have two larger-than-life 3D LED screens, and multiple satellite viewing areas. Families can plan their festive dinners with various BHS restaurants open until 1 a.m. to serve guests and visitors.

The celebration will be capped by a grand pyromusical display as the clock strikes midnight, illuminating the night sky and ushering in the new year.

The Taguig City government, BGC and Coke Studio earlier said that admission to the event is free amid illegal ticket selling

“It has come to the attention of the organizers that there are alleged sale of tickets for the NYE at the 5th: New Year’s Countdown circulating on social media. Kindly note that admission to this event is entirely FREE, the limited red zone tickets are not for sale and not convertible to cash. Please remain vigilant, and we strongly discourage any illegal ticket transactions associated with this celebration,” they said.
