Anakbayan extends condolences to grieving family amid MSU bombing in Marawi City

Progressive group Anakbayan conveyed its condolences to the families of the victims in the Mindanao State University (MSU) bombing in Marawi City on Sunday, Dec. 3.

"We believe that violence has no place in universities and schools, which should be spaces for learning," Anakbayan said in a statement.
According to reports, there are four casualties, and 50 injured in the aftermath of a blast caused by a suspected improvised explosive device that went off during a Catholic mass at the MSU gymnasium.

Meanwhile, Anakbayan is calling for justice for all the victims of this tragedy.
"We also encourage our fellow youth to speak out and condemn this as an attack on the safety of students in their universities," Anakbayan underscored.
