It was a romantic three-day trip for the families and friends of Juan Carlos “Nico” D. Pumaren and Ronica-Alia S. Hortaleza as they whisked their loved ones away to Nusa Dua in Bali, Indonesia. Nico is the son of Cong. Franz and Ma. Lourdes “Odette” Pumaren, while Ronica is the daughter of Don Ronnie and Rica-Elah Hortaleza.

Guests flew in to join the festivities, which lasted from Dec. 1 to 3, 2023, starting with the Despedida de Soltera set in the garden of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The wedding ceremony was set at the hotel’s Majestic Chapel, which gave the guests a view of the scenic Indian Ocean. Ronica was breathtaking in a lace gown by Monique Lhuiller, with makeup done by John Pagaduan and hair styled by Kierlo Velasco. Nico looked dapper in a custom gray double-breasted suit by Sartoria Dalcuore.
