PRC schedules in-person oathtaking of new professional teachers in 2024

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, Dec. 13, the date and venue for the in-person mass oathtaking ceremony for new professional teachers.

In a Facebook post, the PRC announced that the oathtaking ceremony for successful examinees will take place on Jan. 6 in Pampanga, Jan. 7 in Iloilo City, Jan. 13 in Urdaneta City, Jan 14 in Baguio City, and Jan. 20 in Zamboanga Del Sur.

Meanwhile, similar ceremonies will occur in Legazpi City on Jan. 21, Lucena City on Jan. 27, Tuguegarao City on Jan. 28, Palawan on Feb. 3, Tacloban City on Feb. 4, and at the Philippine International Convention City (PICC) in Pasay City on Feb. 9 and 10.

Moreover, a set of new educators are scheduled to take their oaths on Feb. 11 in Cagayan De Oro, Feb. 17 in Zamboanga Del Sur, Feb. 24 in Koronadal City, Feb. 25 in Davao City, March 2 in Tagbilaran City, and March 3 in Cebu City.

PRC said participants must complete the pre-registration process on its website (http://online.prc.gov.ph) before noon on the oathtaking day.
They are also required to print the oath form, which includes a generated QR code, to confirm their attendance.
For those unable to attend the in-person oathtaking ceremony, arrangements can be made for a special appointment or an online ceremony option will be made available.
Details about the online ceremony will be posted once the schedule is confirmed, PRC said.
It added that participants must complete their initial registration by making an online appointment on the official PRC website following the oathtaking ceremony.
