Looks like Spain has been enticing more and more Filipinos to either visit, work, or migrate there.
There are ads on social media inviting moneyed locals to invest in a condo-hotel that offers them legal residency or what is known as Golden Visa. People can also buy homes or apartments that allow them the same opportunity.
One of those who purchased an apartment in Madrid recently is Bea Alonzo. She proudly showed off her old-new condo in one of her recent vlogs. The latest is that Bea is currently in Spain with her fiancé, Dominic Roque, who is touring other European spots such as Italy and Switzerland.

“Becoming an Asia CEO Technology Company awardee is in itself a major achievement, but winning the main title, 'Technology Company of the Year,' is truly mind-blowing,” said EdukSine’s Founder and CEO, Karen Salutan-Krukover.
The award was presented to EdukSine in simple ceremonies on Octo. 25 at Marriot Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.
EdukSine is cited by CEO Asia for pioneering a novel model of film access, thus enhancing cultural appreciation, education, and connectivity across the Philippines.
“Its fusion of technology, culture, and education epitomizes innovation for social good, truly making it the Technology Company of the Year."
DOST Secretary Solidum personally congratulated EdukSine on its remarkable achievement in providing cutting-edge educational solutions that are aligned with DOST's mission to promote science and technology with a twist of arts for national development.

EdukSine earlier received funding from DOST PCIEERD, which helped create EdukSine's website.
For the past several years, EdukSine has been changing the narrative for independent filmmakers and viewers.
Karen notes that in the not-so-distant past, the world of independent filmmakers and producers was one of relentless struggle. Their stories, while powerful and unique, often ended as victims of the fleeting first-day showing in cinemas, overshadowed by mainstream and Hollywood films.
For many, traditional platforms seemed like insurmountable giants, leaving film visionaries struggling to compete and recoup their investments.
“The world was a challenging place for these talented creators, and only those living in key cities could have access to quality indie films. People in far-flung communities had to endure a grueling 17-hour boat ride or an expensive one-hour plane journey, spending thousands of pesos just to watch a film in a cinema house.”
But then, EdukSine emerged as the game-changer, rewriting the narrative for independent filmmakers.
With EdukSine, people have finally found a platform to amplify their films' messages, connect with a dedicated audience, and regain the fruits of their labor.
EdukSine, with its commitment to meaningful storytelling and educational content, has given these filmmakers a voice, a stage, and a chance to shine. Where once only Filipinos in key cities that had cinemas could access quality independent films, people in far-flung communities can now enjoy the same through partnerships with schools, government offices, companies, foundations, and institutions.
Karen says EdukSine's narrative is a transformational story of revolutionizing the film industry and redefining how we experience cinema. It's resonating with those eager to be a part of this changing narrative.
“Now, anyone can access these quality films online in just 17 seconds, anywhere in the world.”
