Authorities believe the head belongs to Kristopher Cabalquinto who has been missing since last week.

Police Col. Joeresty Coronica, city police chief, had earlier said that a family from San Miguel, Iloilo
approached authorities and claimed the body belonged to Cabalquinto

“With regards to the motive, police investigators are looking at illegal drugs and crime of passion,”  said Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO spokesperson. “But we are still looking at other possible angles as motives,” added Sangrines.
