LOOK: Chico Garcia adds new role in wedding celebrations

From wedding host to officiating minister

Radio host Chico Garcia recently shared a witty post on his Instagram account, recounting his unforgettable experience at an intimate wedding ceremony in Cebu. On Nov. 21, 2023, Chico revealed that he not only had the privilege of hosting the event but also had the honor of officiating the couple's union.

In his post, Chico clarified that the couple was already happily married and simply desired an intimate ceremony for their close family and friends.

Reflecting on the unique opportunity, Chico playfully referred to himself as a "3-in-1" package, serving as a radio jock, events host, and now an "officiating minister."

“Definitely one for the bucket list. I didn’t just fly to Cebu to host a wedding, but I also officiated it! Okay, before you say “ordained yarn?” The couple is already happily married, but they just wanted an intimate ceremony for close family and friends, and like coffee, I’m now 3-in-1: radio jock, events host, and now officiating minister!”

Expressing his gratitude, Chico extended his heartfelt thanks to the couple, Sophia and King Ten, for treating him like beloved family members.

“On a serious note, thank you to Sophia and King Ten for being the most gracious, generous hosts to us, and for treating us more like family than suppliers. One for the books!”

Accompanying his heartfelt message was a photo of Chico alongside the lovely couple, capturing the love and joy shared during the special occasion. 

Netizens found the post amusing and left comments. One user wrote, "Mukhang papunta ka na sa seryosong propesyon." Another user added, "House and car blessing naman next."  Talent manager Noel Ferrer also commented, "Ang saya, ang daming career."
