Newlyweds Vincent De Luna and Aireen Casiple, both from Quezon City, captured the hearts of netizens, as they rode on a motorcycle after their memorable civil wedding, on Nov. 11, 2023 at SM Novaliches.
 

When Manila Bulletin Lifestyle reached out to the viral couple, Aireen shared that they met at the Road 2, Sauyo market on Aug. 26, 2007. Their love story started with Vincent serenading her outside the church.

Despite not having enough budget for a fancy vehicle, they decided to make their wedding day unique by using a motorcycle and adding their own design to it.
 

“Balak po talaga namin na-motor lang ang maging sasakyan ng kasal namin para rin unique po. At wala rin po kasi talaga kaming budget para sa bonggang sasakyan, kaya kahit motor, nilagyan po namin ng disenyo para matuloy lang,” she shared.

When asked about the absence of helmets during the ride, Aireen explained, “Sa totoo lang po, may helmet po kaming hawak na para incase po ma-check point kami susuotin na lang po namin. May daanan po kaming checkpoint, pero pinagbigyan nila po kami.”

“Nagpapasalamat po talaga kami kasi pinayagan nila ‘yung gusto namin na ipakita sa mga tao na kasal na kami at masaya kami sa araw na ‘yon,” she added.

Aireen also advised couples that the grandeur of the wedding doesn't define the love and happiness in a marriage. She also emphasized the importance of understanding and working within one's budget.

“Maipapayo ko lang po, na ‘di na po kailangan ng bonggang sasakyan pagdating sa pagpapakasal, mas magandang may intindihan po natin ang kaya ng ating budget,” Aireen said, adding,“Dahil para sa akin po, kong talagang nagmamahal kayo ‘di niyo na po iisipin, ang importante masaya kayo araw-araw sa mga ginagawa n’yo.”

The couple expressed their desire to have a church wedding in the future when they have enough funds to do so.
