Tiffany & Co. and Pokémon put a playful twist on jewelry with their capsule collection

The collection is also in collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham

For years, Tiffany & Co. has produced numerous collaborations. There’s the time when it turned Fendi’s iconic baguette into a full-fledged objet d’art and tinted Nike’s beloved kicks with its signature blue. This time, the American luxury jewelry brand works with one of the world’s most popular entertainment franchises, Pokémon, for a playful capsule collection.

Together with American contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, Tiffany & Co. unveils its Pokémon collection, featuring jewelry pieces in oxidized sterling silver with diamond accents. The collection puts the spotlight on six beloved Pokémon—Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone, and Mew—through its nine designs ranging from from pendants to necklaces. It is also inspired by Daniel’s exhibition in Japan, “A Ripple in Time,” which featured a variety of Pokémon works of art meant to evoke the passage of time.

“With my latest project with Tiffany, we’ve recontextualized Pokémon—a nod to my 2022 “A Ripple in Time” project in Tokyo—to orchestrate a new narrative,” Daniel said in a statement.  “With Pokémon and Tiffany, itself, there’s a sense of cultural permanence about each.”

Apart from the abovementioned pieces, the collection also presents a special Pikachu necklace in 18K yellow gold with diamond accents, which is available in small and large pendant sizes. According to the brand,  the oxidized sterling silver pieces are packaged in a Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon Blue Box, while the gold Pikachu pendants come in Poké Ball colored with the brand’s Tiffany Blue.

The collection will be available in December in New York and Tokyo, as well as online in North America and Japan. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the collection will be available in the Philippines soon because we’ve got to catch them all!
