Cup Of Joe is No. 1 streamed OPM group on Spotify

Rising pop rock group Cup Of Joe is now the No. 1 OPM band on Spotify today.

The Baguio-based band dethroned Ben&Ben’s streak as the most listened-to OPM band on the popular music streaming platform as per Chart Data Ph’s tracking of Spotify PH Daily Top OPM Groups as of November 19.

Cup Of Joe trailed Ben&Ben for several weeks until finally rising up a notch over the latter to become the No. 1 OPM band in the land today.

Cup Of Joe (or COJ) currently has almost 4 million monthly listeners on the platform driven by several singles that includes “Estranghero” (36 million+), “Ikaw Ang Pipiliin Ko” (24 million+) “Mananatili” (10 million+), “Cinderella” (12 million+), “Bukod Tango” (9 million+) “Patutunguhan” and “Tataya” (6 million+ respectively).

All of COJ's released tracks number in the millions.

But it’s COJ’s most recent single that finally pushed them to the top.

Cup Of Joe’s “Tingin” featuring top OPM female streamed artist Janine (Teñoso) has been a fan-favorite single of “Joewahs” (COJ's fandom) since its release last April 2023. The track is a collaboration between Cup Of Joe’s Gian Bernardino, Raphaell Ridao and Janine which currently has over 22 million listens on Spotify.

Cup of Joe — whose members include vocalists Raph and Gian, keyboardist Xen Garza, bassist Sevii Severino and guitarists Gab Fernandez and CJ Fernandez — also entered Spotify’s PH Top Artists chart for the first time this week as it settles in on the Top 10 at number 8 according to Chart Data PH.

Cup Of Joe’s “Tingin” (feat. Janine) is also the top song by an OPM band on Spotify’s popular playlists that included Top 50 Philippines, Hot Hits Ph, Top Songs Ph and Tatak Pinoy.
