First previewed at the recent 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVs), the BYD Atto 3 is built around the all-new BYD e-Platform 3.0 designed exclusively for pure electric vehicles and powered by the ultra-safe BYD Blade Battery. The BYD Atto 3 can lay claim to offering the best in advanced EV technology and placing it easily within the grasp of the tech-savvy Filipino customers who have already embraced the EV revolution through BYD’s products, or those who are looking to venture into the world of EVs for the very first time.

BYD hopes to make battery electric vehicles more accessible to the public by offering this fully electric compact crossover at as low as P1,598,000.

This crossover is named after the Attosecond — the smallest timescale used in physics. This represents the remarkable speed at which BYD’s battery and EV technology evolves. As such, the BYD Atto 3 is equipped with all the latest EV technologies hatched in BYD’s research facilities.

The BYD Atto 3 is equipped with BYD’s proprietary lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade Battery which is known for its safety, durability, overall lifespan, resistance to degradation from charge/discharge cycles, driving range, and performance. The Atto 3 can deliver a very impressive 480-km range. Maximum power is 204-Ps, while torque is a mammoth 310-Nm. Zero to 100-kph acceleration is a rapid 7.3 sec. The Atto 3 is also capable of providing power in the event of natural emergencies, thanks to its V2L function. Adding to its arsenal of EV tech features is regenerative braking.

It is here where drivers can see the 360-degree camera feed, manage connectivity with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and control other vital vehicle functions. The interior also features a panoramic sunroof and leather trim.

Completing this suite of safety features is the ADAS Package with Stop & Go Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC-S&G); Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEB); Blind Spot Detection (BSD); Lane Departure Warning (LDW); and Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELKA).

The BYD Atto 3 is available in 2 variants: the Atto 3 Premium with a 480KM* range, priced at P1,798,000; and the Atto 3 Dynamic with a 410KM* range, priced at P1,598,000. (*Based on NEDC).

The BYD Atto 3 is also supported by the existing Ayala Land EV ecosystem that will enhance the user experience and help realize the full potential of the BYD lineup.

Twenty Ayala Land Charging Hubs throughout Luzon ensure EV users always have a charging station nearby, with more in the pipeline.

AC Motors, the automotive arm of the Ayala Group of Companies, has also committed to expanding the BYD dealership network to 12 in 12 months. Soon, there will be more BYD dealerships in the country to serve its loyal customers. In the meantime, the Atto 3 can be seen, experienced, and purchased from BYD Makati and BYD Quezon Avenue.
