Falken introduces their newest flagship tire

Falken tires offers a new tire line to bring passenger car drivers even better handling, longevity, and comfort on the road.

JM Far East Inc., the exclusive distributor of Falken tires in the Philippines recently unveiled their new flagship tire, the Azenis FK520L. This new tire caters to a wide range of vehicles from passenger cars to SUV’s, offering exceptional sports performance, longevity, quiet and comfort.

Manufactured in Japan, the Azenis FK520L has a new asymmetric pattern which ensures maximum road contact resulting in better braking response, stability and control in wet conditions. 

Structurally, its big improvements over the predecessor flagship tire are a new tread compound which uses a “Sustainable Silica Dispersion Agent.” Specially developed by Lion Specialty Chemicals Co., Ltd. for the Azenis FK520L, it extends tire life by 10% and dry performance by 8%. It contains an “Aramid Layer Reinforcement,” which is stronger yet lighter than steel, allowing for high speed stability and better cornering. Its sidewalls are a deeper black hue with Nano Black Lettering which adds to its premium appeal.

With a UTQG (Uniform Tire Quality Grade) of 300, it’s expected to last three times longer for its category over a reference tire, it gets an “A” EU grade which means its safer in wet conditions with a short braking distance to a full stop and a Temperature “A” rating which means that it continues to dissipate heat at speeds above 115 miles per hour (185kph) keeping it from degrading at high speeds.

Before it was introduced to us here, the Azenis FK520L had garnered many awards from different European automotive organizations. 

The Azenis FK520L will be available for purchase in November 2023 at authorized dealers nationwide and in sixty sizes starting at 215/45 R17 91Y to 296/45 R21 107Y.
