READ: Victoria Beckham opens up about past school bullying experience
Reminds daughter to be 'the kindest in the classroom'
Parenting is a multifaceted role that involves not only providing love and care but also imparting valuable life lessons based on personal experiences. Victoria Beckham, a well-known television personality, recently shared an important lesson she taught her daughter, Harper.
Having faced bullying during her own school years, Victoria advised Harper to be the kindest person in the classroom.
"Be the kindest in the classroom! I’m so proud to raise a strong and caring daughter! Growing up I was bullied a lot at school, and I often tell Harper how important it is to be kind and call out if anyone is ever being bullied – especially if there’s ever another little girl on her own in the playground, because that was once her mummy!" she captioned her post on Instagram, Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023.
"This #AntiBullyingWeek it’s so important to not be silent if someone is alone or being bullied. Kisses, Harper Seven. I love you so much," she added along with a photo of them.
The "Spice Girls" star also shared a short clip from an interview with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, where revealed that she frequently discusses her own experiences with Harper, emphasizing the pain and loneliness associated with being bullied.
She encourages her daughter to approach and befriend any child who may be alone on the playground, reminding her that she was once that little girl who longed for friendship.
"And I was bullied a lot. I often talk to Harper about that. I say you know, if there's a little girl on her own in the playground that little girl was mummy and that hurts. She finds making friends very very easy. I never did. Go and talk to that little girl," Victoria ends the post.
