King Sue celebrates 93rd anniversary with Christmas lineup

King Sue, a renowned brand known for its high-quality ham, celebrated its 93rd Anniversary last Nov. 8, 2023 at Café Ysabel. The event highlights their top-selling hams such as Piña Ham, Pear-Shaped Ham, Hawaiian Ham, Chinese Ham Bone-in, as well as their delicious sausages.

The event was graced by Operations Manager Richie Brian King, Chef Gene Gonzalez, social media influencers, and members of the media.

When asked what type of ham Chef Gonzalez would recommend for the holiday season, the renowned chef answered, "One of my favorite is ‘yung Chinese ham. Chinese ham kasi the way it's cooked in Filipino style, cooked in pineapple juice, beer, honey, and all of that, really graces a lot of the Filipino tables especially during the holiday season."
 


"Chinese ham because of its well developed flavors, malakas ang umami niya at hindi limitado ang style sa pagluluto," Chef Gene added.
