Very recently, Apple held its much-awaited "Scary Fast" event.  While the name of the said event may have hinted as something "terrifying", the event was anything but.  It was, in fact, brilliant!

The tech giant launched its latest MacBook Pro lineup powered by the mighty M3 family of chips.  As the event showcased Apple's innovation and commitment to improving the lives of its users, the event wasn't at all scary; but rather impressive.  And here is why:

Meet the M3 Family

The M3 family of chips is Apple's latest step in its silicon journey.  It is the successor to the successful M2 chips.  The M3 chips are based on a 3-nanometer process technology.  Simply put, this technology allows the packing of more transistors in a small space.  The result:  significant improvements in performance and efficiency compared to the previous generation.

Just like any other family, the M3 family of chips is very close-knit composed of the base M3 chip followed by the M3 Pro and the M3 Max which are more powerful variants each packed with more features.  These chips feature performance and efficiency cores CPU, a GPU and a 16-core enhanced neural engine for quicker and more efficient machine learning or AI functions.
