BuCor has 2,293 PDLs qualified to vote in BSKE

A total of 2,293 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in the Bureau of Corrections' (BuCor) prison facilities has been declared qualified to vote in today's, Oct. 30, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The prison facility with the most number of voters is the Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) in Davao del Norte with 983 qualified PDLs, BuCor said.

The New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City has a total of 930 PDL-voters, most of whom are confined at the maximum-security compound, it said. .

The other BuCor facilities that also have qualified inmates are the Leyte Regional Prison (LRP) in Abuyog, Leyte with 333 voters, and the Correctional Institution for Women CIW) in Mandaluyong City with 47 voters.
