The Dragon Court restaurant, nestled within the Manila Prince Hotel in Ermita, Manila City, has reopened its doors once again. The event was an intimate yet grand affair, featuring a traditional dragon and lion dance that set the stage for a festive lunchtime.
The vibrant colors and graceful movements of the performers captivated the audience, immersing them in a world steeped in Chinese culture.
Following the performance, guests were ushered into the beautifully designed Dragon Court restaurant. The décor effortlessly combines modern elegance with traditional Chinese motifs, creating an opulent and inviting setting.
The atmosphere was cheerful as VIPs and members of the national media gathered to celebrate the revival of this iconic dining destination. After the socializing, guests were then escorted to their tables and promptly introduced to the restaurant's Dice Game Set Menu.
This new dining concept seamlessly blends delectable Chinese cuisine with a lively Chinese Dice game, offering guests a unique and interactive culinary adventure.
The Dice Game Set Menu includes a set of dice, prizes, and clear instructions on how to play.
Guests were also reintroduced to the culinary mastery of the Dragon Court kitchen staff. We enjoyed hot and sour soup, crispy chicken in lemon sauce, and fried shrimp balls with mozzarella.
The salt and pepper spareribs and stir-fried beef in oyster sauce were favorites among the crowd. For dessert, there was chilled almond bean curd with assorted fruits.
