LOOK: Valerie Concepcion's newborn shares same birthday as firstborn

They are 19 years apart!

Actress and host Valerie Concepcion recently welcomed her second child, a baby boy. Interestingly, she gave birth on the same day as her first child, Heather Fiona.

Valerie shared a heartwarming photo of her husband, Francis Sunga, and their newborn son on her Instagram story, captioning it "My boys."

Francis had expressed his desire for a baby boy in a previous Instagram post shared by Valerie on June 17, 2023. The couple even celebrated with a baby shower adorned with bears and blue balloons.

The "Sinasamba Kita" star revealed that she missed her daughter Heather's capping and candle lighting ceremony as she was busy preparing for the arrival of Heather's little brother. But, Valerie made sure to express her love and pride for Heather through a heartfelt message. She referred to Heather as her "forever baby girl" and expressed how proud she is. She wrote, "My forever baby girl, Ate Heather! Mighty proud of the wonderful woman you're becoming. So sorry we couldn’t be there in person to celebrate this momentous event with you anak, (because I’ll give birth to your brother real soon ), but our hearts were with you, cheering you on. We love you immensely!" Valerie also mentioned that her parents were the ones who attended the event.


Apart from being proud, Valerie shared that Heather, her first child with ex-partner Jeremy Carag, has been a true blessing in her life. On her Instagram post, Valerie expressed her gratitude to Heather, stating, "To my beloved daughter, from your first breath to this 19th birthday, you've brought nothing but joy and pride into my life. You've grown into a remarkable young woman, and I couldn't be prouder… I am truly blessed to be your momma."
 

Valerie became a mother at 17 years old. She found "the one" with Francis Sunga. They got engaged in August 2018 and married over a year later in a beautiful garden wedding at The Hills in Silang, Cavite.
