Lego unveils Dune set featuring an astonishing Baron Harkonnen miniature figure

The new set features the LEGO-fied Dune Ornithopter, a meticulously detailed replica of the iconic aircraft used by House Atreides

LEGO and Warner Bros. have collaborated to introduce a new LEGO set inspired by the highly acclaimed science fiction movie Dune, itself based on Frank Herbert's iconic novel of the same name. 

Unveiled just this past Tuesday, the LEGO Dune Ornithopter is a meticulously crafted replica of the famous aircraft used by House Atreides.

The set comprises more than 1,300 pieces and comes complete with eight minifigures: Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho, and Baron Harkonnen. The Ornithopter, in itself, boasts several lifelike elements, such as fold-out wings, deployable landing gear, and an accessible cockpit.

The pièce de résistance, in our opinion, is the minifigure of Baron Harkonnen, appearing creepy and imposing with his long, flowing robes. One of the unique minifigures in the LEGO universe, to be sure.

The LEGO Dune Ornithopter is a must-have for any fan of the film or the Dune franchise as a whole.

The LEGO Dune Ornithopter set will be available on Feb. 1, 2024 at LEGO.com and select retailers. It will retail for $164.99.
