“Maaring ang ilan sa ating mga QCitizen ay tutungo sa sementeryo upang bisitahin ang kanilang yumaong mahal sa buhay, hangad namin na maging makabuluhan at ligtas ang inyong Undas 2023. Panatilihin ang pagsusuot ng facemask lalo na sa matataong lugar at pagsa-sanitize ng mga kamay. Kung nakararamdam ng sintomas, manatili na lamang sa loob ng bahay (Maybe some of our QCitizens will go to the cemetery to visit their deceased loved ones, we hope that your Undas 2023 will be meaningful and safe. Keep wearing a facemask especially in crowded places and sanitizing your hands. If you feel symptoms, just stay indoors),” it said.

The QCESU also reminded residents to observe social distancing, bring hand sanitizers and alcohol for their safety, as well as bring their own drinking water to avoid dehydration and water-borne illnesses.

The local government had earlier issued its guidelines for a peaceful and safe observance of Undas 2023.

The guidelines include the schedule of cemeteries and columbariums from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, reminder to observe Covid-19 health protocols, and approval for vendors and micro-enterprise to operate during the said dates.

As of Oct. 23, the city government recorded 90 Covid-19 active cases out of the 302, 213 total cases with 2,399 deaths and 299,724 recoveries.

The QCESU advised residents who experience Covid-19 symptoms to visit the nearest health centers in their areas for consultation or coordinate with their office which is open Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
