The De La Salle University (DLSU) announced an extension for its senior high school and freshman application deadlines due to its ongoing website maintenance.
The university released a statement on Monday, Oct. 23, stating that the DLSU's website is one of the online systems affected by the recent data security incident.
It said that the senior high school application is extended until Nov. 15, while the freshman application deadline has been extended to Dec. 20.
Last Oct. 18, the university also set up a temporary campus Wi-Fi to address the affected university's online systems in response to the recent "data security incident."
As a precautionary measure, students and faculty must enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and change the passwords guarding their DLSU email accounts by Oct. 21.
