How to: Filipino celebrities and the AI '90s yearbook trend

We can now effortlessly transform our regular photos into a nostalgic '90s aesthetic

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a driving force for innovation, empowering us to unlock our creativity and aiding us in various academic pursuits. But now, AI also has the incredible ability to transport us to the past, allowing us to revisit cherished memories we long to see again.

One of the latest trends that AI can do is the "AI yearbook" filter, which has gained popularity. With this filter, we can now effortlessly transform our regular photos into a nostalgic '90s aesthetic.

To avail of this, one needs to download the photo-editing EPIK mobile app. You then upload eight to 12 photos and the app will produce 40 retro images of you in different high school personas—from nerd, preppy, sporty, and more. There is a one-time payment fee of P199 for this, where you get the photos after 24 hours. There is also a faster option wher you pay P299 and the photos will be done within two hours. Note that the photos produced are random, which means that you cannot choose what templates you prefer.
