CARLO drops lilting ballad 'Hiwaga'

The artsy indie café Jess & Pats in Maginhawa street in Quezon City was filled with celebrities over the weekend.

They all came to support CARLO as he launched his newest single "Hiwaga."

Among those seen at the venue were Marilao, Bulacan-based songwriter-singer Shane G, Sam Benwick, Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol.

Then there's The Juans - RJ Cruz, Japs Mendoza, Chael Adriano and Carl Guevera, who shared, “We’ve known Carlo since 2015 when we were just starting The Juans. He’s been supportive of our band and our music ever since, and now that he’s making his own music, it’s our turn to return the support he showed us.”

“Hiwaga,” written and recorded by CARLO, was arranged and produced by Carl.

According to CARLO, the piano-decked ballad is about “about embracing life’s waiting season and how patience will eventually lead one to the right person and how magical it will be when that happens."

It is now available in streaming platforms.
